Can I make oat milk?
Yes you certainly can! Oat milk is generally made from presoaked oat groats, which are the hulled grain broken into fragments. Use approximately ¾ cup of dry oat groats and soak them for 6-8 hours. Drain and rinse the groats before placing them in the filter cup. The filter cup should be approximately 2/3 full. You can also combine oats with other grains, beans or seeds such as soy, barley, rice, and almonds.
Oat milk is quite light and has a mild, slightly sweet taste, so it substitutes well for low-fat or skim milk. It can also be used in the same way as soymilk or rice milk. Oat milk is a wonderful choice for consumers looking for a milk that is fat and lactose free.

Mercury and Detox
Ever wondered what those mercury fillings do to you? Check out this short video, from a laboratory at the Universiy of Calgary, which shows actual footage of damage being done to brain cells exposed to Mercury.
Mercury vapor is highly permeable and it will go through your skull bone like a hot knife through butter, and it will stay there firmly bound to sulphur proteins in your brain, causing damage to the microtubules that nourish your brain cells. This film makes it easier to understand exactly what happens to your brain cells when they’re exposed to mercury, making it easy to understand why mercury has been linked to a host of harmful reactions like autism, heart disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Infertility and many more.
Your brain and body can be exposed to toxic mercury through a number of other ways as well, from getting a flu shot to having a dental filling. Studies have found people with amalgam dental fillings can have mercury vapor concentrations 10 times higher than those in people without them. Also, simple activities such as chewing gum, drinking hot liquids and brushing teeth can further increase the release of mercury.
If you choose to take out your fillings - make sure you give your body a detox as well. Wheatgrass is one of the best detoxes you can give yourself.

Allergies, Asthma and Anaphylaxis on the rise
It’s worth noting that the number of children under five affected by potentially dangerous and occasionally even fatal allergies to peanuts, eggs, milk and some other foods is rising fast, with new evidence suggesting the rate may have increased 12-fold since 1995.
The first Australian study to look at pediatric food allergy rates in children found the number of consultations for advice on the problem in children under five rose from 11 a year in 1995 to 138 a year by last year.
There was also a seven-fold increase over that time in the number of annual consultations for food anaphylaxis.
Do you think there could be a dietary connection?
